Having an alpine PD difficulty grade, this is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Mera peak climbing is suitable for all the physically and mentally fit trekkers who are dreaming of standing atop a Himalayan summit. Trekkers who have a good experience in walking at higher altitudes who wants to get through an expedition style camping trek and climbing trip, definitely find their adventure on Mera peak climb. Our climbing training course prior to the climb involves rope fixing, glacier walking skills, ascending and descending skills.
Our itinerary has been designed carefully to trek the less trodden and longer trails with gradual ascends to make sure everyone gets acclimatized well. After landing at Lukla airport our trek to Mira peak begins via the less explored resign of Himeu valley, where we pass by panch pokhari and pangkongma on our way to Mera base camp. We set our high camp at 5800 meters to make the summit day shorter and comfortable. The panoramic view from High Camp itself is an amazing vista one can surely enjoy from this point. We start very early on the summit day to approach the top of the peak by northen route which involves gradual climb. The view from the summit is for sure one of its kinds from the climbers point of view which showcases Mt.
