Everest Region

Everest Region is specially known for Mt. Everest or Sagarmatha (8,848m). And it is not surprising that trek to Everest Region draw the attention of enthusiast adventure seekers across the globe. Apart from that, Khumbu region is a wonderful with its natural and cultural diversity, topography and blend of culture making the Everest region a perfect destination to visit at least once in your lifetime. Mt. Everest is just small fraction of what there is to discover in Everest Region. Besides that, there are more mountains over eight thousanders including Mount Lhotse 8,156 m, Makalu 8,463 m, Cho Oyu 8,201 m,  and several seven thousenders and six thousenders plus picks dominate the northern sky of Himalayan Land. Similarly, the local Sherpa residing in Khumbu region have deep respect for nature, culture and tradition and its played vital role in the preservation of the area.Most of the region is encircled within the world highest altitude Natioanl Park called “Sagarmatha National park”. Being is an exceptional area with mountains, glaciers and deep valleys, monasteries and unique culture of local Sherpa’s it was listed in UNSCO world heritage sites.
