The grand trek of the famous Khumbu region portrays high altitude lakes of Gokyo, challenging Chola pass, the legendary Everest Base Camp, and views of four giant 8000 meters peaks. Unlike the regular Everest Base Camp trails, this route leads you through Mong, Dole and Machhermo villages, splitting the major trail from KyangJuma. The physically strenuous trek leads you to Gokyo village where you spend one more day to explore the fourth and fifth lakes and hike up to Gokyo Ri. Crossing the Chola pass is the most challenging part of the trek which finally takes you to the most awaited Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp via Lobuche.
